Purge Puck

The current MTMS Kit is designed for SPE-SPI spec’s with a 101.6mm(4 inch) locating ring. The purge puck can be adapted to different sized locating rings by installing a collar on the aluminum purge puck to center the assembly in the locating ring. See attached print for dimensions.

For smaller locating rings(<101.6mm), the puck can be machined down.

• IMPORTANT: machine down puck BELOW the thermocouple probe hole so probe insertion depth is the same.

• IMPORTANT: leave .5mm gap between puck and locating ring(OD) for carbon build up. Cleaning off carbon build up will allow magnets to secure the locating ring.

Ring

The ring is designed to accept a 12.7mm(1/2 inch) or 19.07mm(3/4 inch) nozzle radius. This ring can be modified to accept any nozzle tip used in Euro Map presses. Could be flat or radius’d. The ring is hardened and be machined or ground down to match your nozzle type. The nozzle must seated against the insulator cup. The purge puck may need to be cleared out based on the OD of your nozzle.

• NOTE: There is no high pressure build up during purge process. Excess purge will exit through overflow channel in purge puck.
